Anderson Heights host with the most

PROJECT SUMMARY

Our client described it best: “I love hosting guests, but sometimes I want them to disappear without leaving.”

From this, we understood the challenge: redesign a whole home that radiates hospitality while offering moments of quietude for both the owner and visitors.

  • At its core, the design reflects the client’s personality and life—preserving beloved heirlooms and integrating collected art. The formal living and dining rooms welcome guests with charm, while a casual den serves the everyday. The primary suite offers ultimate respite, centered around what the client described as “a bed I want to collapse on—but nothing frilly.”

Guest bedrooms and baths take inspiration from boutique hotels, but with nods to family connections, avoiding the anonymity of a typical stay. A small room near the guest wing was reimagined as a cozy TV nook, an invitation for solitude and self-care amid the vibrancy of gathered family and friends.

The result is a home that exudes calm and warmth, as ready to entertain as it is to cocoon. And from it, we received the highest compliment designers can hear:

"My guests love it; they say, ‘This house is so you.’”

Or perhaps they meant, “so Hue?”
