Our Process

Our first step is always the same – getting to know you and your home, and the way you live in it. We’ll take measurements and make an inventory of what you’d like to incorporate into a new design while asking whether you like full sun in the mornings, if you take couch naps on the weekend or if you need a mudroom for kids, pets and gardening galoshes. From there we’ll meld your dream look with your real life.

ORIENTATION

We’ll develop a proposal with room-by-room recommendations of freshened up floorplans and furnishings. Our renderings will include millwork details and material specs for flooring, counters, tile, paint and wallcoverings. Alongside that we’ll detail accents like upholstery, area rugs, art, lighting, window treatments and more. We’ll pull samples to share with you in-person.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once decisions are finalized, we’ll begin meeting with the vendors and artisans who specialize in custom goods to get cost estimates, and place orders for ready-made and semi-custom products and services. We’ll be in touch on a regular basis with status updates, delivery dates and installation plans.

DESIGN EXECUTION

  • We begin projects anywhere from pre-construction blueprints to the moment you look around your home and decide it’s overdue for a redo. Maybe it’s never felt like you, maybe it feels like the old you – either way we’re ready to get to work.

  • Everything is fully customized to you and handled on your behalf. We begin with inspiration and big-picture planning for floorplans and furniture, we’ll source samples for upholstery, finishings, fixtures and more. We’ll handle the orders and installations, then make sure it’s styled to perfection. Throughout the project, we’ll be in touch regularly; when we’re done, we’ll toast to your new space.

  • You might, but you don’t have to! Just knowing you’re ready for something new is a great jumping off point. Our process always begins by getting to know you and your space. We’ll have plenty of time to pull inspiration and discuss it together, getting a feel for what you like (or don’t).
